No IPv6

Hi,
For last several days I notice that Airtel BB F670L ont router shows the status of IPv6 as Connecting, but there's a GUA assigned to router WAN.
The clients do not get any IPv6.
What does this mean that router receives IP6 GUA but clients don't?
SLAAC, PD & DHCPv6 all are active on router and enabled. Grayed options. Locked.

unlock it and try to put 2 separate configs 1 for ipv4 and one for ipv6 and check if you are getting assigned ipv6

I tried that and it used to provide me ipv6 every single time

@rohitks do you really need an IPv6? My connection doesn't give me one thanks to the static IP.

@Chip you can still dial PPPoE to get IPv6. I do that + my static IP.

I was getting reduced speed of 300 mbps if i enabled ipv6 with static ip.
with static ip only mode i was getting 500-600 mbps.

so clearly combining both didn’t worked for me

No scope to add a PPPoE connection on pfSense on a single port..either it is static or PPPoE. TBH, it's no big deal frankly I am happier with teh v4 and I get v6 from TPF so that is used to PD to the LAN.

what? you can't just run pppd on the vlan interface?
SMH, also yeah PPPoE speeds will be limited to the plan.

My connection touches 480-490 Mbps download most of the time without static IP on dual stack PPPoE. I am on the 200 Mbps plan. @Chip you should be able to get around 650-700 Mbps download without static IP if you enable IPv6 on your 300 Mbps plan. Upload speed however is capped.

This is weird behavior by speedtest.net in which download uses both IPv4 + IPv6. But upload only uses one of them.

In reality static IP is uncapped, and IPv6 both RX, TX are capped (PPPoE)

This is what I am getting @ Speedtest with static IP, but its only to certain speedtest servers.
