No Speed / Connection Improvement Till...... Even Airtel Cc Don't Know

Ur Welcome :)Doesn't anyone know anyone in the Airtel management ? I'm sick of seeing the pathetic speeds....

yes they had come for the upgradation of the router(220bx) firmware which the airtel ppl hv been upgrading for quite sometime now and not to install netexpert...........why in the world wud they come to our doorstep to install a crappy s/w like netexpert anyway ????

y there is need for a firmware updrade???? what its prons n cons ???
 
pros:1)u get the mental satisfaction that ur firmware is up to date2)may some minor bug fixes i'm not aware ofcons: 1)wastage of ur time...i.e which he wastes in installing2)no change in speeds though some ppl had reported decrease in speeds, unstable connection and other minor probs after the upgrade.i din get mine upgraded....mine's runnin fine w/o it ................some ppl i know who changed back to the old firmware for better results...........rest is upto u.
 
thanx mystery.......has anybody else noted improvement in speed lately??i'm gettin 2 - 4 KB/s better at night....
 
Seems like the speeds are back to normal. Getting 13KB/s all day today. Any one else getting better speeds?
 
No improvement in speed here.Added later - I reconnected my modem and now i am also getting slightly better speed.

After such a long time i am seeing such high speeds. Just to claify i am getting good speeds on all downloads(24 -25 KBps). I am from Noida. As i had said before Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai ;)

Now that the speeds have been restored lets hope and pray we see some increase in near future!
