No Unlimited 5G on Lower plans | Jio New Plans to Be Launched on 3rd July 2024

@_Dexter Even Jio FTTH is pure trash with too many restrictions. No provision of static IP and their IPv6 also keeps on changing after certain intervals.
I have to shell out 3599 to get unlimited 5G compared to 1559 which I did previously.

What is the cheapest 1yr plan to get unlimited 5G benefits? I wanted pure 5G and no OTT fluff.

@akshay71 Yes, 3599 seems to be the lowest annual plan with UL 5G. Or the 899 plan for 3 months. Per month cost would be around the same ~ Rs 300.

Why to purchase a 5G CPE? When you have better setup?

CPE Cost = 30K
My setup = 12k (5G mobile 9k + Usb Lan with Pd 1800 rs+ Existing router 1400)

Plus battery needs to be charged, phone can't stay on always, not a viable long term setup is it

@dhyaneshwar94 I've achieved 1Gbps+ on both Jio 5G and Airtel 5G (In early days of 5G release). Technically MC7010 can do 2.5Gbps

@Faruk As someone mentioned in conversation, viability and reliability .
I did had same setup earlier but had to deal with battery, overheating, bad speeds (phone chooses which band to connect to), phone software glitches.
Tower was far away from my house so had to mount my setup on roof (used plastic box to insulate from weather). I needed reliable internet for my work so that setup wasn't for me.
If you are going to spend 12k then you can spend another 4-5k and get a good CPE from ebay.

@Sanemi I doubt that. I don't think Airtel allows more than 300GB consumption per month.
