No Unlimited 5G on Lower plans | Jio New Plans to Be Launched on 3rd July 2024

@all @cpe users - days are comming where jio going to disable access / reduce speed over third-party 5g cpe to promote their airfiber network. These days aren't far.

Coming to heating and other problems suggested by members
1. I used to get full network in my room and speed that I'm getting with the plan is satisfactory.
2. Phone isnt overheating, its cooler than my glucon d.
3. Correct Band selection isn't possible. But i can lock the 5g network.
4. Phone that I'm using based on 5nm chipset and supports mazor bands that cpe will not able to support in future and never heats.
5. Much more stable than jio's own airfiber

Cons -
1. power consumption is higher i believe.
2. Few users with same setup reported sometime they had to manually turn on tethering.
3. Cannot be placed outside, extreme heat/ water will reduce the device longevity.

On the website it says only Active Plan (and no other conditions mentioned), does that mean, you can do that topup even with the 1899/479 plan? There's even a typo "Ulimited" @itzmynet

^^ So the cheapest is 1899 + 51 unlimited 5G addon. This is acceptable than paying 3599 for a year. Maybe Jio woke up.

479 & 1899 plans are NOT eligible for 5g upgrade because they are fixed data plans. Here are the criteria for 1gb/day & 1.5 gb/day plans for 5g upgrade

₹51 Addon Plan

Customers who have 1.5GB/Day plan and validity up to 1 month, can recharge with ₹51 to get Jio True 5G Plan.

₹101 Addon Plan

Customer who have 1GB/Day plan, can recharge with ₹101 to get Jio True 5G Plan.

Customer who have 1.5GB/Day plan and validity greater than 1 month & less than equal to 2 months, can recharge with ₹101 to get Jio True 5G Plan.

₹151 Addon Plan

Customer have 1.5GB/Day plan and validity greater than 2 months & less than equal to 3 months, can recharge with ₹151 to get Jio True 5G Plan.

Guys when exactly do we see 5G speed improvements then? I haven’t seen 5G cross 1gbps in the whole of 2023 now
