Nokia G-2425G-A Bridge Mode Problems

The technician who visited the previous day called and informed that bridge mode is active on Port 4. Got a link and it works perfectly there. Thanks for the help :)

Out of curiosity, is it possible to use your own SIP client? I noticed that the VLAN 100 is untagged on Airtel's ONT itself, and nothing has to be done on the bridged port. Kindof was hoping that they'd not untag anything so that I could untag 660 on my end and use it for calling.

2-3 people contacted me and asked what is the issue and if they can come home. i told them i know how to set it up in my router , want you to enable from their end. first they asked to try , when it was not happening they took time and called back after 4 hrs. one more thing , they will tell u which ports are Bridge in backend , make only those ports Bridge in GUI also. for me they enabled port 1,2,3 to Bridge, Port 4 in Router mode.
Hey droid, how to get Airtel's backend team's attention. I tried logging a case by writing to the Nodal Officer; by Twitting the Airtel Presence Handle; no joy yet. Any advice?

Thanks

A general google search will provide you the concepts / benefits of Bridge mode. In short; you get to choose how your devices access the internet and how you can manage traffic on your own network.

Nothing specific. whoever calls you regarding complaint , they usually ask to visit your home, at that point itself make it clear that you want bridge mode to use your own router. so that only the person who knows to get it done will take it forward
