Its not ethical man. If you really want different ONT then buy new one from market and use it with Airtel.
Why to destroy hardware just because you want new one.
Update: Connected my old TP-LinkArcherC5 via AP mode to the Nokia and disabled WiFi on it. Everything is so much better now. I also did not have to enable bridge mode on the Nokia. Just an Ethernet cable was enough.
