Not able to transfer music from Laptop to Phone

Hi EveryoneI am facing problems in transferring songs from my Laptop to Cell phone. I have Nokia 5220 expressmusic and Sahara Laptop with windows OS. When i connect the datacable to my laptop and cellphone, connection between laptop and cell phone is not getting established.Please tell me is this the problem with my USB ports or with the datacable or with the phone.Please guide me with this. Thanks in advance.

Have u installed the drivers from the CD which u got when u bought the phone?

Yes i have installed the drivers...........Till last friday it was working properly.......i transferred music files from Laptop to my cell on friday itself............
