Not getting SMS on my number on VoWiFi

I think when we latch on to different network operator,the phone stops searching the network because selecting a different network locks it to that particular network without searching for network oftenly,thats what happens in an iPhone

Yes it "latches" to that network and is still actively looking for it to connect right because it will try to connect to the nearest tower of that network but can't find one so searching phase will remain active

@TheNuttyNet I have tried that in my iPhone,it didn’t affect the battery although i got lot better battery life compared to the patchy signal

from last few days even though vowifi is turned off am not able to receive SMS on jio on time, am receiving it after 10-15minutes tried from different numbers all are arriving after a average time of 10-15 min.

How to solve this?

Forget OTPs.
