is this only now available in calicutt? they relaunched it? here only old ones available no new connection i checked 2 months back
 
how is the speed is this better than 750ul bb??

the speed in 750 ul is 512 kbps i guess. EVDO can give you that speed on an average and actually can go upto 1.5 2 mbps at night.
I have used 3g and found similar results. To the contrary Evdo will be better and can give 1mbps or more anytime of the day as it runs on an unloaded network unlike 3G where people also use it for making voice calls. There were sharp drop in 3G speeds at peak hours of the day.

Actually bsnl evdo is the only wireless service in my opinion which forms a better alternative to the low end bsnl plans(less than 512 kbps and so).
