my point was the price point it was/ is selling 600-800Rs. and it is sort of absolute control.... no software that can mess up or network going down etc. although networked devices have there inherent benefits.

yes there might be n number of networked products but at higher price point and more complicated & technology/ network dependent.

So I was tired of using induction with super hard buttons. One option was to find a model with soft touch buttons. Or… found a Cello model that had a knob! Wonderful product. No buttons. No display. Nothing. Just one knob. Use it like you would use a gas cooking top! Comes very handy while making coffee or boiling milk. No more spilling.

There was a thread where we started sharing products that are not particularly popular or well known but made for a great purchase. Smallish items that you bought and you loved because they worked out very well and so on. I can't find it right now so starting this.

I had to post about Dettol Bandaids. I had no idea Dettol made them. Recently found them on Grofers and ordered them and they are fantastic. The glue on them is very good and they do not come off easily because of joints or water.

Amazon seems to have them as well.

This one came highly recommended on Reddit. Found two local prime listings with reasonable prices.

I bought the spray bottle and used it on a tap that had a lot of gunk collected over the last couple of years. It has sort of worked nicely over the last couple of days after a few applications. It's not completely clean but I have managed to get around 60% of the gunk cleaned off. Have to leave it on the tap surface for a while for it to work as scrubbing does not work directly. It has helped that the tap top is sort of flat with a lever so easier to keep it floating on the surface. Most of the remaining gunk is on elevated surface where it is hard to keep it covered completely. Thinking about using tape to create a border for it to remain submerged. Cream version might have worked better in my case I think now.
 
I have another recommendation for folks who use up a lot of Colin glass cleaner at their homes. 3M has a product called P3 which is a concentrated solution which turns out to be insanely cheaper than Colin. And it works well.

Amazon does not have a prime listing for this for a while now.

You can practically create hundreds of bottles of glass cleaning solution with this as you just need a caps worth of liquid for a full bottle. You can use more to get a stronger solution.

3M also has other cleaning products. But they are again not easily available through Prime or other routes. I think the supply chain got disrupted because of covid. They hiked prices over the last couple of months. Their liquid handwash soap is also pretty great.

Looks like Cello has launched a new variant of dial based induction few months ago. i had been looking for this for such a long time. not a fan of button based models.
