Used this card at Singapore airport for multiple transactions 700-7000 INR. None of the POS transactions requires pin or sign, everything gets approved somehow. I asked one cashier about it she said it depends on cards.

All transaction were done using card chip, offline POS.

I google about it Singapore earlier, may be still works on sign basis instead of pin. But it seems weird and insecure since the card is not issued in Singapore and is being used for forex transactions.

Probably, it is due the amount. If you had made a bigger transaction, the PIN may have been asked. Like we have PIN-less UPI for less than 500.

Yeah but more than 100 SGD is a decent amount, in other countries it requires pin for even 10 inr on pos.

This card is really good for forex txn, the rates are very good and only 1% charge. Swipe to pay becomes useful if your Indian sim is not reachable and OneCard doesn't send OTP on emails. This is only required when adding card to web based services like can apps.

Update on OneCard fee structure. Effective 15th Jan '24, transactions made in the form of transfers to bank accounts or third-party wallets for a total of Rs 10,000 or more in a calendar month will be charged a fee of 1% on the total transfer amount. - SIB OneCard

Is anyone else getting calls from the partner bank for personal loans and other services? In my case it's the South Indian Bank.

just a fyi. OneCard days might be numbered.

Though I'm not exactly sure if onecard type companies are covered in this.
