PAL to NTSC on BIG tv STB

I have Samsung 40" NTSC & ATSC tv , does the BIG TV STB has any option to hook up or to convert PAL to NTSC . Might be too early to ask ,as BIG TV yet to launch Any one has idea on this...

mostly all stb hardware has support but when dish/tata makes the front end software for stb they are not including this as part of software menu, i also like to know if bigtv has any of this menu option to switch from pal to ntsc.

Why do you need PAL to NTSC conversion ??. You 40 inch TV will surely have AV inputs use the AV input. Do not use RF signal as the quality is inferior as compared to AV input.:thumbsup:

I believe PAL versus NTSC applies to AV inputs as well, not just RF

converters are going to make signal bad, the worst part i can try is, a lcd tv box with av input, so that it connects my tv thru vga,

Dish TV provides VGA ,which can be used on both NTSC and PAL TVs's.

Dish TV provides VGA but when you expand the screen to fit in your 40" TV screen, the picture quality goes slightly bad.

Hi Guys,

I faced a same problem bought a Sony from US and NTSC Signal problems, however I was recently in China and bought a PAL to NTSC converter and now it works fine I bought two from there as i couldn't get one in India and thought second one could be a benefit to someone like me who invested $1000 or more bringing a TV from US and now it doesn't works with your cable.... now worries guys atleast i can help one there like me.

guys i am not a delaer or so and so no disrespect , anyone who really needs it can reach me and also you can have a copy of a bill also if you want for price i don't require any margins its just social service.
