It once accounted for largest volume of biscuit production!

But now ITS CONSIDERED TOO SMALL!! (and hence shutdown)

This is kind of nostalgic and bit emotional to me

So many times I used to get SMELL of biscuit from that factory.

I visited it inside just once but I pass by its gate 8-10 times a year.

It was once famous TRIP spot in school days

And anyone traveling by western railway (local train) passes by it twice a day (to and fro)

The newspaper article indicated that the production was not enough to justify keeping the plant running. I assume the factory is on a prime land and could be better utilized for residential/commercial activity!

It cud have been prime location had it not been right next to railway tracks.

You wouldnt be able to sleep unless u somehow get used to trains running by you every 2mins on average!

And loud sound of train horns every 4-5 mins.
