Hi theultimate1Welcome to the club brother. You sound very much like me and a thousand others who feel duped after getting this %$^@# sify connection. Personally I dont think getting to know if your CTO is at fault or Sify is will be of much help. My personal experience is that one is equally as pathetic as the other. agent in his last msg has a good point here that no one talks good abt sify here and he is quite right. And not only in this forum, search for reviews online and you will always find Sify's reviews to be the worst in India. Too bad you will be stuck with them for atleast until 23rd of November. I am not sure if you have MTNL in bangalore. I have heard some good reviews from them here in Mumbai and is switching to their Triband service very soon. My advice is, look out for some other net service in your area unless you are brave enough to face large downtimes or strong enough to fight for your rights. Best Regards BroNeo Smart

one more trick from sify - ur plan says Unlimited Upto 256 Kbps which means any thing between 0 to 32 kBps

yup they have mentioned upto 256kbps on der PURE UNLIMITED plans.The only plan which offers 256kbps speed is der night plan which is best. B) Earlier der 128kbps night plan also rocked. Hey sify ppl introduce 512kbps night plan

well then i'm lucky 'coz i get an avg. of 15 kBps speed in my package of 128kbps.shifting to mtnl triband is a good option but they have no unltd plans & without that at least i cannot survive...
