Paytm appears to have killed discount codes for postpaid recharges

Wondering if this is the path forward that will be taken henceforth by all companies. Paytm is like Airtel ... All service providers seem to follow them in this regard.
 
I think from company's point of view its a smart move. (ofcourse not good for us)

There is not much competition except Freecharge.

They have got payment bank license. RBI approval.

They are now popular and enough users and must be having good amount in "wallet".

They must have realized that number of users "NOT USING" coupons is sufficient enough to get "good commission" and "good interest" (on wallet money) to continue running company in healthy condition.
