How exactly does this work? How does one pay using the wallet?

a lot of retail stores are now accepting payments through digital wallets. i assume you scan a qr code with the phone's app to pay. not sure how that would work out at a petrol pump. Paytm might be giving them a device to generate the qr code on demand.

I used Freecharge at Shopperstop. You give your phone number and get an OTP.

Yup. Same thing happens at McDonalds. You just say Im paying thru freecharge and they ask for phone number. You give them and get OTP. Enter that & your done.

Thats even more easy method than entering pin kudos to Paytm ( I realize I sound like an paid shill)
