Paytm would charge 2% for loading Paytm Wallet through Credit Card from July 2019

Even before all this, Paytm didn't allow relatively new/infrequent users to load much money using credit card
i have also been reducing my usage of Paytm wallet nowadays, especially since they were raising charges for wallet to bank transfer

it was especially problematic for refunds, money got deducted from CC/debit card but refund was issued to wallet.

Majority of the merchants also use PhonePe and they prefer money being sent to their accounts directly, I think.

Yeah, recently many small shops try to refuse payment through Paytm wallet and instead prefer UPI.

Now that @Rehan Kumar mentioned - I did see a couple of shops having No Paytm written. Or Paytm stricken & Only UPI written on it
