Hey folks,
I am reaching out to share an odd experience I've been having with my XtreamFiber broadband connection, hoping to find someone who has faced similar issues or has a workaround.
Recently, I decided to get a static IP. However, post this change, the network behavior has been quite erratic. I am observing frequent DNS lookup failures, despite trying out both Cloudflare and Google DNS. The speed remains as promised, but every 20 minutes or so, random requests tend to timeout, which is quite frustrating. Even a simple task like opening a website or even a simple Google search takes an eternity (10-20 seconds at times).
Just for adding more context : I have the Sercomm router and it's bridged to my TP-Link Router. The issue is present on both routers( I've checked the same with and without bridging the connection )
I've been on calls with AIRTEL's technical support, but after discussing it with three different engineers, it appears they are as clueless as I am. According to them, everything looks perfect from their end.
It's becoming quite a hassle as the connection becomes unreliable. Has anyone here encountered similar issues or has any insights on how to resolve this? Your help would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
