Play store apps are not downloading/updating

Since last week the play store download speeds are dead slow but today it just stopped. PENDING.. Forever... Even Youtube is having some issues.

I'm using Google DNS and cloudflare. Also checked with bsnl DNS still problem persists.

Clear data of Google Play Store, Google Play Services and Download Manager. Then restart.

If that doesn't work uninstall updates for those 3 and restart.

i mean he does have a point but it's probably not relevant here. every couple of months google play starts showing an error on the update page. it essentially fails to detect new updates so nothing gets updated. and i have to reset the app to get it to start working again.

here the issue seems to be that the updates appearing in the list are not downloading.

Ofc not. It's something that worked for me when Play store just won't download and pops up "Can't install this app" errors.

@Adithya @Sushubh yeah, i agree with both of your points, but here i assumed it was a problem from bsnl's side cause playstore worked fine when connected to other networks, so we'll have to wait for the OP's update on this
