And CA module is the Conditional Access module, which has specific CAS support, and can be used to read particular card it supports. We can use CA module in any CA supporting STB, and thus user is free to buy any CA supporting STB form market. It is used widely in European market by providers having limited number of channels

Tata Sky still have 34 test cards empty. So how many channels they can add?If Tata sky provides ADD CHANNELS option then there are many good channels on Insat4A and other satelites which are 83 degrees to East.Tata sky still have 34 test cards empty. So how many channels they can add?If Tata sky provides ADD CHANNELS option then there are many good channels on Insat4A and other satelites which are 83 degrees to East.

As it shows 34 TEST, that means they can add max 34 channels, although some of it is used for some other services like VOD, ACTIVE, etc.The 34 channels space is on satellite, while we can add many channels on STB (upto 400 I guess), but Tata Sky software does not allow currently adding channels from other satellitesOther channels available on Insat 4A are from C Band, while TATASKY dish supports reception of only Ku band signals, so we cannot receive those channels
