desktop app called pokemon go live map works fine/far better than pokevision. It also shows gyms near your location. I found an onix using this app and caught it. It also shows the time till that particular pokemon will be active at that particular place. good stuff. android app is in the works

I can only find ratatas,pidgeys,abras and geodudes near my home as expected.

Niantic should look into stopping these apps. since using this app, people with more time/money will just collect more pokemons and eventually will become powerful and when/if niantic launches PvP fights, then these high level players will keep on winning.

There are android mods (xposed modules) that allow you to fake your location.

I wonder if that can be used to travel from one place to another without actually travelling!!

There are indeed GPS spoofing apps. But niantic usually detects these hacks and just refuse to load/ ban the player account permanently

Dude. becareful and have an backup account. If niantic finds out, they outright ban the profile. They're pretty strict in ingress.

Whole app data like pokegyms, pokemons and pokestops are stopped in South and east regions of India. Hopefully they keep the player data instead of deleting it
