Poor Customer Service from Tata Sky

HiI manage the Tata Sky Connection for my mother including calling the call-center, recharging the account etc. Around 2nd week of February, my mother told me that the TataSky was not showing any channels and hence needed to be recharged. I was travelling. When I came back I saw that no channels were showing and hence I recharged the account on April 14th, 2010. Yet it was not working so I called up the help-line. They told me that there had been a Solar Problem and because of that a disruption had happened. The executive immediately fixed the problem from his side. However, this meant two things1) We were not able to see services for almost 2 months2) I recharged in the advance and hence incurring an advance cost without requirement and hence put financial burden on me before it was required.I am not satisfied by the executive's response and hence request the following action-> My account be extended by 2 months for the lack of availability of services and hence wastage of the money spent As Tatasky, they send me multiple promotional messages which do tend to be spam at times. However, I never received one message on this solar outage. I am surprised that they cannot inform customers about critical problems in their service level but can send me all kinds of promotions.Details of Conversation:Date 14.4.2010Name of Executive: Mr. Rupinder SinghAgain on 09-May, Mr. Gurmeet Dhillon from their chandigarh call center called to get me to recharge the account as the account was about to expire. They are so very prompt in getting money from me but not ready to help the customer. Also, they said that there is no way to get a refund of the amount paid to the Tatasky but not utilized. I find this surprising and a questionable practice.Overall, I am very unhappy with the overall response.
 
even I am pissed about their yellow triangles showing up all the time everyday in the middle of watching something they dont even have a way to stop it that's the only thing I don't like about it.....
 
This seems to be absolutely correct. I am trying to recharge my account since last 7 days through net banking, but unable to open the mytatasky portal and a message is displayed as "The weg page is not available". The same problem is faced by all the consumers of Jamshedpur, and a complaint related to the same is launched on 18th May'2010 to the customer care. It was being informed that the problem will be resolved by an hour or so, and the customer care doesn't need to register the official complaint. Strangely after 3 days, when the CC is approached again as the problem is not resolved, they were in the same mode and we were informed that it is a simple problem and they are going to resolve the same within minutes. However, as we insisted, an official complaint in this regard was registered by yesterday evening. Till now I am waiting for the solution, and this time CC informed that this problem will require 72 hours to resolve. For last 120 hours, what they were doing?
