Airtel Xstream Fiber (300Mbps)
Router : RPi-4B (OpenWrt), TP-Link A6 (AP)
I have two Airtel Fiber connections, both running on 300Mbps and both are from same Distribution Box (FAT box). The problem is unstable speed everytime I try do speedtest. Speed never really touches. Today I did speedtest starting at the same time on both routers, and their combined speeds equals to 300-320Mbps. There are already 3 connections from that FAT box except mine. How to get it fixed?
Help will be appreciated.

Upload speed is fine, always hitting 360+
Only issue is download speed.

Have you tried resetting the Routers?

Also what's the power level on both routers?

Is it LAN or WiFi?

-20dbm, -21dbm.

I did reset multiple times.
Wi-Fi. But its kinda strange that every speed test upload shoots to 360+ whereas download doesnt.

It's wifi channel congestion issue.

My TP-Link Archer C6 does the same thing.
Upload goes up to 500+

But downloads are always 200-300 ish (300 Mbps plan).

But when Wifi 6 router is connected it shoots up to 600+ Mbps downloads & Uploads also.

Except replacing router or playing with different channels there's nothing much you can do.

Yea... no I don't think it's FAT Box issue. We have 20 airtel connections out of 1 fat box including 1 giga connection I.e., my neighbor. 1 fiber at all times will not be shared by more than 8 customers.
Likely poorly configured router at first ISP node or a bad policer.

I tried speed testing again, issue remains same but I found out something. When one router is running at maximum speed offered(300Mbps), there is packet loss, ping breaks. It means our connection is shared and bandwidth is saturated?
