Hey Folks,

I am stuck on a weird issue on my Airtel Fibernet connection... port forwading has stopped working all of a sudden since yesterday..

My setup is that I am using Airtel provided Huawei HG8145V5 modem/router (have disabled Wlan on this router) and I have connected a Asus RT-AC58U router to the Huawei one... (I think it must be Bridge mode, not really sure about it)

Untill yesterday everything was working perfectly, I had forwarded ports (443 & 8123) on my Asus router for HomeAssitant server remote access (via DuckDNS) and all was fine till yesterday... not sure what happened since yesterday, Ports fwding is not working ( when checked on few port forward testing websites it says Connection timed out or Port is Closed), my DuckDNS domain doest work :(

I have tried resetting my Asus router but nothing helps... also I havent made any changes to Airtel Huawei router... everything is as it was before..

not sure what happened suddenly and how to troubleshoot this.. need help pls
Any chances that Airtel could have been done some changes in the backend ?

possibilities and checks
Airtel blocked those ports for their own reasons. I never get 443 ever at my end actually
You are no longer on public ip but airtel might have put you behind cg-nat. I guess every ISP in india is slowly moving in that direction. there are I suppose just under 35 IPv4s / 1000 users in india
try testing with original airtel provided router. remove bridge mode. trying with one device is better than trying with two in series
check your ip at wan port if it's public or private
ddns might have issues, try using actual ip rather than domain name

I have the exact same setup (Airtel PPPoE + Port forwarding + DuckDNS + Home assistant)
And for some reason, incoming connections are being blocked by Airtel.
@deepakdcg Did you figure out a way to access Home assistant from outside your network ?

talk to airtel and get a confirmation if they will open ports when you move to static ip. that's what their field engg told me a few months ago. things keep changing. 443 is blocked at my end. i am not on static right now.
