disable dhcp in your router....

Where is the disable DHCP option? Can't find italso, should I do this after entering the static IP address or before?

found it. should I disable DHCP and then enter static address or other way round?

EDIT: disabled DHCP in router. In my computer, I set DHCP to manual and entered static address in network settings in computer as posted in the screenshot in page 2. did not work. stopped the internet.

you need NAT enabled in WAN setup... confirm that NAT is enabled.:p

Here's what I did just now by following instruction in this link provided ^^ Port Forwarding Utorrent on the UTStarcom WA3002-g1

I disabled uPnP in Vuze. I am using port 52285

Then I did the static IP thing by entering following info in my computer system network properties

When I clicked Apply/OK. I LOST Internet connection.

I nevertheless went ahead to the NAT page of my router and entered settings as per the link Port Forwarding Utorrent on the UTStarcom WA3002-g1

When I clicked on Save, I got the following Error.

Here are the port trigger settings

Now, I have reverted to my original settings in my computer network properties to get my internet going.

Also, I have been getting error messages like one posted below in Vuze. I guess they are due to port forwarding not being implemented??
