Porting from Prepaid Vodafone to Prepaid Airtel (delhi)

AFAIK Trai's guidelines say that number should be ported in 7 days.

Vodafone UK is great. But Vodafone India CC don't have any ethics. I wanted to disconnect a Voda no. of late person in family, they refused to believe it. Then I got a call that we need to email them a scanned copy of original death certificate along with a cancellation letter. We did that and cleared all the dues till that date. Since then, they called 4-5 times confirming if the concerned person used to live at our place. But 3 months have passed and we are still receiving monthly bills.I honestly don't know what to do. Don't feel like doing anything either.

ya cc of Vodafone nd network is really bad I myself had to tolerate them for 5yrs Once I was given some wrong info about a GPRS related service becz of that 500 buks gt deducted from my account in less than 10 min. I informed the nodal officer about though nodal officer was suppose to reply back in 3 days I think but I got reply after 2 weeks i.e is 14 days that also after wrtting like tons of mails and total harassment and trauma I had to go threw with cc before then with the nodal officer nd instead of being nice to me for their fault she was almost scolding me as if it was my fault.......I told her that she can hear the recording of cc person who provided me that information. She said its very difficult to do that and she will not do it ( considering every time we call cc we hear ur call is getting recorded for training purpose.) this was just way too much or I should say height of treating customers like crap.just as now I am getting calls from Vodafone ppl even when I have told them I dont want to continue with ur network as your network and cc ppl are total crap. its almost like they are hiring ppl from the village in the cc dept. now I told them I have got the sim replaced they tell me again the same thing sir get ur sim replaced u wont have network problems in Delhi. I just want to be ported and nt continue with Vodafone its pretty simple but no they need to argue until I file complaint and take legal action with them.hutch was so much better..since it become Vodafone India it has just become shit network as well as service at least here in Delhi !!

Vodafone has the best network coverage here in Delhi.^ You just posted your agony with the CC department nothing regarding the network.You should not use Vodafone GPRS anyway. At least a wise man would not knowing that they allow your balance to go infinitely negative and blah.

hmm.........getting continues sms from vodafone ur porting is in process but still nothing has been done.......suky vodafone Plus I inserted my airtel sim I got network on it but sim is still not activated.

no. Ported tdy finally frm crap vodafone... had to raise a complain to airtel though as vodfone kept call nd sendng msg porting in process lol btw chkd out airtel 3G nd using it right nw getting arnd 3 to 4 MBps pretty nice but data limit suxs !
