Powering modem through USB? want 2 avoid disconnection, new ups doesnt work, pls help

You are absolutely correct. I already noticed that UPS is getting turned of after 45 seconds, here it is how I noticed it (after posting this thread), I connected my laptop adapter to it and light went off and even after 1 min it was working, so what I did, I removed everything from UPS and it went off exactly after 45 seconds, with modem also it went off after 45 sec...

I wasn't aware that USB modem power cable comes, so that is something interesting and new which I learned, Thanks for it. Needless you say, you are totally genius and helpful person and I really appreciate your efforts you took to make everything clear and crystal clear, not to mention every point noticed by you is correct.

^ Yup it's pretty cool! Even I was like :ishock: when I saw that thing for the first time. Airtel people have it. So, next time your modem's power adapter dies, demand for a USB modem power cable! :P
