@Jaycyborg yes just connect, it will show error. Than go to wan settings, u will see service name option. Though ur problem for bridge mode may not be resolved but ac 10 has service name option for ppoe connection.

@opomiyulen You are a saviour . Followed your above steps and was able to configure service name field and finally got PPPOE working on my Tenda AC10 router. For people who are looking to setup , please follow below steps. Don't need to contact Hathway for enabling Bridge mode and you can do it your self.

Step 1: Create a Bridge connection as shown below on your Hathway ZTE 670L router's WAN settings.

Step 2: Bind the above created connection to any LAN port ( I have binded it to LAN Port 4)

Step 3: Connect Hathway router's LAN PORT 4 (binded above) to WAN port of your secondary router.

Step 4: This step is router specific , so update config according to your router. My current router is TendaAC10 . Setup PPPOE connection on router as below.

Step 5: (Optional) - Set the service Name field if required by your ISP. In my case Hathway requires service name to be set for PPPOE to work. For Hathway the service name should be exactly spelled "HATHWAY" .

Now your PPPOE should work from your secondary router and your Hathway router will just work as ONT .

Thanks to all who helped me along to reach this point . Thanks to @opomiyulen @JB701 @Chip .

With all your help , I was able to prove that Hathway CustomerCare and Technical team is stealing money from customer in the name of static ip.

Tricks that Hathway customercare and their so called technical team tried to make me purchase static ip
1.They said only if I get static ip I can do port forwarding. Which was mother of all lies .
2.They said only if I get static ip I can do bridge mode, without static ip if they setup bridge mode then my internet connection wont work.

Stay away from these fraudulent people and save your money.

Tempted by this post, I went ahead and put my ONU in bridge mode and setup PPPoE in my router. Faced exact issue as @Jaycyborg. Their data calculation went haywire, reporting 3TB usage in a week, resulting in post FUP 5 Mbps. I'm on their 200 Mbps Deco plan. All of my devices are connected to Deco M5 and according to it my usage was around 600GB for the whole month. CC reps refused to accept it and had asked me to wait till my bill cycle gets over for FUP credit. Even on 5 Mbps post FUP, data consumption in self care reported was around 350 GB in a day which is not even possible. After disabling bridge mode and connecting through their ONU, data usage seems normal. Not sure what's causing this and I wouldn't recommend bridge mode as of right now.

Solved it the same way as @Jaycyborg. Fought with their CC for the past two days to no avail. Created a cancellation request and voila, data was credited back within an hour.

Have re-enabled bridge mode and tested for few days. Turns out incorrect MTU could make their data meter report higher consumption. Everything seems fine so far on 1492 MTU.

@warpspeed How it is now? is the data consumption normal after setting 1492 MTU ? can you please confirm ? . I wanted bridge mode enabled so that I can avoid double NAT .

Yes it is normal now. 1492 MTU and also delete the PPPoE WAN profile in ONT and create a new one for bridge. Having two active PPP sessions messes up their data calculation somehow. One drawback though, bridge mode settings are not being saved in ONT. I have to configure it every time after power loss or reboot.

@warpspeed Bridgemode not getting saved, thats a bummer . I dont understand why these Hathway people making it more difficult for end customers. I will stay out of bridge mode for now because setting bridgemode on every reboot is a pain.
