PPPOE setup on Hathway Broadband - Cheating customers

@agamernot There is an option for you to enter a DMZ IP in ZTE ONT. This is only useful if you want to forward all packets which originates from outside to your own router. Even if you enable bridge mode in your ZTE ONT, the settings will be lost after reboot. Best option is to get third part ONT like I did.

I got my PPP password as SMS from hathway when the connection was installed and I had it saved. If customer care refuse it to provide you could try and get it from any field service personnel. If they don't have access tell them to reset it then you should get a new one as SMS.
 
@Babishek You need to enter GPON Serial Number and VLAN ID from your existing ONT to the new one during initial setup. That's all! I've been using mine for nearly a year and no issues so far. However I've noticed a dip in connection quality lately so I've been using my ACT line as primary and have Hathway only as a backup.
