I have a Vodafine Lifetime Prepaid connection. 6 months are going to be over and I have not recharged with Rs 200
So, now if I want another 6 months connection (without spending Rs 200 on recharge), do I have to buy a new Lifetime connection, or just Recharge with Rs 99 as I am an Existing Customer.

Vodafone website shows this:
Existing Customers : Recharge with Rs 99 and get lifelong validity with Rs 10 talktime.
New Customers : Make a First Recharge with Rs.99 & get lifelong validity with Rs 10 talktime.

Thanks

Recharge with Rs 99 as u r an Existing Customer. telecom company is hiding in small leters the big details that u have to recharge with a min. amount fo revery 6 month if u remember this lifetime was started by tata indicom i still have their phone didnt recharged it from 3 years and yes it still works (that is their commitment to their then policy now evry one has changed )

Does that mean that instead of recharging for Rs 200 every 6 months, one can recharge for Rs 99 to get validity of another 6 months?

you may be able to
but there are 2 disadvantages to this
1) you lose your existing tarrif plan, and get whichever one is going on now for the lifetime recharge offer
2) for a Rs 200 recharge you rs Rs 200 talktime, while with Rs 99 you get Rs 10 talktime..

Does Vodafone has come up with something like Airtel:

Bharti Airtel has introduced yet another value added service in the form of Lifetime Prepaid for Rs 49.
Existing users too can avail the offer by recharging with Rs 48.

I have Vodafone connection, can I extend it for 6 months by recharge of Rs 49 or something other than the recharge of Rs 200?

THanks

I just rechared online for Rs 49 and my prepaid connection was converted into lifetime (until expiry of their license for Mumbai circle). No necessity to approach the local retailer :)
