Prepaid VS Postpaid Connection Difference.

Yes you can take a static IP in prepaid BB connection, however I am not sure if a LCO provided connection can do so. You will need to check with them. LCO is (I think) Local Commercial Operator.
 
You can take static IP in prepaid connections, I took it in last October and dropped this January.
LCO managed connection means where the customer front is being maintained by Airtel(including Recharges/New Connections/Service Requests) while the Fiber/Junction Boxes Maintenance is being done by LCO.
 
@ShubuYeole the only difference between a prepaid and postpaid is when the payment falls due i.e monthly or at 3/6/12 month intervals. I shifted from prepaid to postpaid (bill) and back to prepaid again last month and I have a static IP.

Anyway, if they are not giving you a static IP for whatever just shift to postpaid after the current billing cycle ends by calling 121 and ask for a static IP at the same time.

Now if it is LCO managed they may have another set of rules which you may need to clarify directly from them.
