Problem with MTNL wireless braoband...ADSL light dead.

Hey guys, i am using mtnl broadband for the last 4 months and it worked gr8. I am using 256kbps unlimted plan. Recently I bought a laptop, so I switched to MTNL wireless router with modem. The company executive installed it and was running good on PC. But after I restarted the computer it has stopped working. The ADSL light is dead. WLAN light keeps blinking. I called the 1504 help line and the guy said asked to ping the server with “ping 192.168.1.1 –t” and the server was responding. But still its not working!! Can anyone tell me what can be the problem and how to solve it.

You should mention model/make.
Confirm you cannot connect
(a) desktop in lan mode
(b) laptop in Lan mode
(c) laptop in WIFI mode.
(d) none of the above.
More than one choice allowed !

Para two:
Post this data: for desktop and laptop.
START RUN type cmd type ipconfig /all

IN Browser type 192.168.1.1 admin admin (usually)
Give details of the Device Status

since when are you facing this problem.. could be a temporary issue..

256 kbps has got low signal strength, its too low for wifi routers to pick up that signal. I had to same issue. Had to revert to normal modem.

hey guys the problem is solved.The line man came and asked to remove the phone line from the wall socket.And it worked!!!use splitter to connect the phone line
