problem with vista and wi fi / two active connections?

hi i am using windows vista basic, and also ve wi fi connection , but i ve to keep open/ connected my wi fi as well as broadband connection. if i am disconnecting any one connection than i am not able to browse any website. Also many times my pc says there are two active connection on system please disconnect any one... so how could i get to browse net in this condition? pls help me..
