No benefit for the end consumer. It is a matter between the DTH provider and broadcaster.OT. How does ispy cause a post to wrap around?

That's what I thought. Anyone here with CAS experience? I remember watching Neo Sports at a Hathway connection in Delhi and the quality was certainly acceptable. So, what (if any) are the drawbacks of CAS, particularly Hathway which will be available in my region around December?

Not CAS. But I have used Hathway digital. The quality is much better than standard cable. But it is not comparable to DTH. That is because of heavy compression at their end.

TRAI also talked about giving DTH a wide berth since it is at a nascent stage. So, the benefits are reserved for the provider both ways. They can pick channels a-la-carte from broadcasters but can offer packages to consumers. The interview is with Jawahar Goel. And he accepts that he has not gone through the recommendations properly. He is talking hypothetically and as regards CAS.So, bottom line is, no a-la-carte for DTH consumers till the TRAI decides sometime in the future.
