Forgot to post this at the time, hope this helps someone facing the same thing.
Some context: My bill was due on 19th yet I lost my internet on 10th. Signal was strong, no LOS. I thought it was some issue at BSNL's side, booked a complaint, nothing for 2 days.
What happened: BSNL randomly makes the smart decision to redirect all requests to freetrial.bsnl.co.in, the page shown when a bill is due, once, to remind you to pay. But due to my use of DoH or using google dns at the router it never worked.
Solution: Visit Home Page once on any device and your internet will be restored. I changed my dns back to bsnl dns before doing this, I'm not sure if it helped. As soon as the page loaded, every device in the household got it's internet back.
Wasted two days for this.
