I have found a nice article for DNS that offers very nice malware filtering.

Public DNS malware filters tested
zero.dns0.eu(created by co-founders of NextDNS)

I mostly use quad9 and then in some cases, I use NextDNS too. Happy with both services.

dns0.eu looks promising. I am going to test it out. Thanks for the heads-up!

Tested the shell script from OP's link. NextDNS is close to dns0.eu on blocking malware urls. ControlD is works fine as well but the interface is clunky and we cant see the domains in block list.

Dns0 is operated by founders of NextDNS. Not sure if they are still part of the company but seems like more of a subsidiary focused on EU.

We distribute our infrastructure across multiple hosting providers in every member state of the European Union. Our custom-built software stack has been battle-tested for more than 3 years answering trillions of queries and serving hundreds of thousands of users at NextDNS.

Nice! Dns0 is like NextDNS lite but with only malware domain blocking. Tried it for few days but went back to NextDNS due to latency and no adblock.
