I have been planning to connect my gaming PC and Macbook directly via LAN cable from the router since a very long time. Since the router is placed in the common passage lobby(the fiber cable is pulled from an external duct in the building), there's no way i can put a lan cable without drilling holes into the walls. There's already wiring present for coax cable(DTH) and intercomm but only in the living room and master bed room. Is there a way to pull a cable through the electrical duct along existing electrical wiring? I have two switch boards and one 16A power plug in my room. Planning to pull the ethernet cable through either of the boards.
I have a couple of questions.
1. Obviously i can't do this on my own, so i would need an electrician's help. How should i carry out this process so that i don't damage any internal wiring and duct?
2. What quality and category of cable should i use in order to be future proof? I believe a cat 6 cable should be enough for my use.

If someone has carried out this process, kindly share your experience and tips.
