Strange that they're revealing it now, after launching the SoCs having this last year.

Read this on another site and none of people having phones powered by those SoCs noticed this thing until now!Also, I couldn't figure out how is it possible to quick charge device using any hardware or software trick. eg. 2000 mAH battery will take little more than 1 hr to charge via adapter having 2A output current. Simple physics. No one can change that unless the setup is faulty in first place. There are some losses in a form of heat and conductor but they are negligible (ideally in above eg. battery should charge in 1 hr) and one can not overcome that beyond some extent. but 40%!
