Qnavigator just uses creg info to declare registered or unregistered, as said before it's declared state is irrelevant. It has probably not been updated to show correct state for their newer 5g modems. Or maybe your modem being an engg model is an aberration and their production modems will show creg as registered too. Yes, any mode should work when set up correctly.

Sorry, I don't use any social network! You really don't need ndis mode, even in openwrt you can set up dial up and use it. Everything will go through its usb inteface anyway, even when you use its virtualized network adapter. Only performance difference will be when you switch it to pcie mode and use mhi drivers in windows and openwrt. You can't do it on your pc anyway as you're using an adapter and not a pcie interface on your mb. You can do that on bpi-r4 as it has both pcie and usb enabled on its m2.
no but since jio runs on ipv6 only it needs 464XLAT to work on ipv4 sites which is not possible in dial mode ig
Isn't jio using using nat64 by default? Can you not just disable ipv4 in your dialup connection?
