I have Nokia N73 and Airtel sim card i connect my laptop to the mobile thru the cable and use the internet , so im planning to buy airtel usb modem to increase the speed , but i dono if the speed will increase by using the usb modem or its same as N73 mobile , plz anyone let me knowthanking u in advance

Search the forums for more info.thanx iChaitanya for the reply i already bought the usb modem and u r right the net didnt increase and by using the mobile i can receive the calls but by the modem i cant receive any call cuz it keeps the no busy i lost rs 2999/- for bad service so i advice everyone not to buy airtel usb modem.

Ya, under ideal conditions you can expect 247 Kbps or whatever they have mentioned but as per my observation the EDGE speed never goes above 15-18 KBps.
