I recently got the D-Link DSL-2750u .So I decided to use my old router , The binatone 845w in wds repeater mode but I have no clue on how to set it up. Has anyone in this forum successfully set the binatone in repeater mode? Please help.
Connect your PC to D-Linkrouter, check its IP address and subnet mask. Disconnect and now connect the Binatone router, manually change the IP address (eg If the IP of Dlink is 192.168.1.1 then the Binatone's IP should be 192.168.1.2) also ensure both the router has the same subnet mask (eg 255.255.255.0) and finally turn off DHCP server. Now connect the Dlink router to the Binatone router using Ethernet cable. Disable and enable the network adapter on your PC, check if IP has been assigned correctly and ping the Dlink router to confirm connectivity.
