MTNL Mumbai Question Regarding TP W8968 Router

So i am on adsl 2 plus and its showing gdmt or i cant get any mode better than gdmt itself?

Ill call up TP-Link customercare tommorrow. If i dont recieve a convincing answer ill return this router.

I did a hard reset of the router but no luck.

Is this affecting something in any way? For me the internet works on both the modes just fine. I'm on bsnl though.

Definately. Adsl2 is smoother and faster than other modes. It does effect online gaming experience.
Best i can describe it as feeling like driving a bmw compared to driving i20. Adsl2+/adsl2. Vs older modulation modes.

Looks like TP-Link is forcing G.DMT. What are your stats like when using the DNA? What is your line on? Annex M?

Also, can you check only ADSL2+ and Annex M, uncheck Bitswap and check SRA?

I checked via 2 routers dna and tc451 .both are on adsl2 with annex A.

On tdw9861 it doesnt matter if i check or uncheck most of the options it stays on gdmt.i think its a routers firmware or inbuilt fault.
