Yes, indeed
My friend he had postpaid was utterly confused when the first bill was generated post 6 months, after that he took a broadband connection from Airtel Xstream at Dehradun, he told me that although the speed on speedtest servers are fast, the real time performance was way better on Jio, although on lower bandwidth!

Postpaid in this case is advance rental. Even if you don't pay in advance, your connection will remain active and amount will be deducted from your account's credit limit. Payment can be made at the end of bill cycle when the bill is generated. No late fees is levied if payment is made before due date. It is a weird system but installation is free.

Off topic . Which plan is better ? Ore paid or post paid ? I thing in post paid , one doesn't have to pay for installation . But has to pay minimum 3 months charges , I think . Subsequently , can we pay one month at a time or we are stuck with 6 months / annual plan ? I am likely to get bio fibre shortly after a very long wait .

All in all you'll be getting what you pay for in both the plans, 1500 Comprises of a ₹1000 150mbps plan, and security deposit that you'll recieve upon disconnection, and in postpaid you are bound to a long plan say 3/6 month, In prepaid if you dont like the service just return the connection within the first 2 weeks and you'll get the whole amount, but on postpaid you have to pay what you have consumed and the rest will be refunded I guess!
Edit: Prepaid is same as what you use on a Sim Card, you recharge you use, no recharge no service!
