Firstly, hello to all in this forum.
I came upon this site after roaming around frustrated in tech forums like Chip n Digit for an answer but i guess people here are better "experts".

Recently we got RF Connection from govt via n.i.c . We connect t via a Dish connected to a box that connects to the PC's Gigabit Ethernet LAN.
Its capped at 54Mbps although i hardly see downloads exceeding 100KB per sec. Well thats another story.

My problem is that so many of my softwares dont run on this new connection. My Yahoo Messenger cannot connect. uTorrent and Frostwire cant connect. Even common download managers do not connect. And online games just doesnt connect to the "server"

Initially even my web browsers couldnt connect but we manual proxied it.
Our manual proxy settings for my LAN are--
My IP-10.180.12.66
My Subnet- 255.255.255.240
My Gateway-10.180.12.65

DNS Server: 164.100.3.1
Alternate DNS-164.100.17.3

For web browsers, we use- Manual HHTP Proxy- 10.180.1.2 and Port 8080
I can download files using Firefox and Opera's inbuild download managers, but i am wondering why i cant use utorrent, frostwire, orbit etc etc.

PPL please help.
For referendce this is what it shows when i use Orbit-
Code:

I went to Orbit's settings, disabled Internet Explorer default proxy and enabled HTTP Host 10.180.1.2 and Port 8080
Now i get this message
Code:
