Please tell me what this Rate applicable post data transfer quota is?

I want to know about an Airtel plan, ROTN Max 175 GB which is 2 Mbps for 175 GB and 256 kbps with Rate applicable post data transfer quota of 60 ps/min

What is this rate applicable post data transfer quota? it says 60 ps/min? Yes, its says 60 ps/min and not 60ps/mb.

Does this mean that after the monthly data quota is over you will be charged 60 ps/min despite bandwidth speed being lowered to 256kbps ?

Another Question :-

Hello. I have an Airtel Broadband plan Max 175 GB. 2 Mbps for 175 GB and then it goes to 256 kbps post that with Rate applicable post data transfer quota as Nil. I only upgraded to that plan a few months ago.

But when i checked the Airtel broadband tariff section the plan (Max 175 GB) i am using is no longer there and instead they have a new plan (ROTN Max 175 GB) which is almost the same, same price, same data limit, same everything except that it has the Rate applicable post data transfer quota of 60 ps/min.

Does this mean that i will be automatically be changed to that plan? I don't want to change to that plan, i want to keep my old plan. Can Airtel forcefully change me to that plan since the old one was discontinued.

What is ROTN ?

Please help me.

60 ps is call rate. They wont charge you for usage post the FUP limit for a plan which costs 2199. Only the speeds drop.
It is most likely a case of ambiguous advertising
Oh ok I guess you were talking about this plan. http://www.airtel.in/applications/xm/TariffPlanBroadbandNewUser.jsp?CIRCLE=14&ID=795
It does charge per MB (not per minute) but they are providing Rs 1700 voice call benefits which is not written in the Max 175 plan. They cannot forcefully change your plan. If they insist, just ask to cancel and negotiate with the retention desk to keep the plan

Thanks for you reply.
I asked if they could forcefully change plans because i used to have a 1 Mbps unlimited plan till june or something but suddenly the speed went up to 250kbps and above when downloading, it seemed i was getting 2 Mbps and about two weeks later i was getting only 30kb/s when downloading and the bandwidth seemed to be only 256kb/s.
when i called them they said i have only about 30 GB free and i used up all my data quota and because of that the speed has been reduced to 256kbps. They changed my plan to 2 Mbps with only 30 GB free. When i told them i had an unlimited plan, they said Airtel does not have any unlimited plans. It was only then i changed to Max 175GB.
