There are many people who view all the three channels.. and Rs.108 is very costly.. some one should kick the SunDTH a$$...

Airtel gives ESS channel for Rs.45..
The price hike is for evey body and the airtel will also increase its package rate for ESS channels in 2 to 3 months time...............

for watching Champions league i have to pay 65/-Rs f**k u TS
I dont think Champions league might kick start may after 6 months i believe..........as most of the teams are touring in the following months......

I think and hope TS comes with more packs for regional channels and others too which might bring down our cost in subscribing to the package........

As some one in the thread stated the real culprit for increase in rate for ESS channels are the ESPN management...........govt should take strict actiona against them........

I hate SCV due to their monopoly in cable business.......especailly in chennai......and now i am happy that Hathway has got equal share in cable industry in chennai............:dance:.

SCV should be kicked out of chennai..........:dance:

I am back with my cable opertor with settop boxes which he charge Rs. 200 with 150+ channels incl all sports channels( more than TS south jumbo pack). will use TS till my subscription will be over ( 2009 Jun) then BYE BYE to TS DTH..

Many DTH users are shifting back to cable set top box which is cheaper . .

Cable operators dont show the exact customers what they have with the pay channel broadcaster.........

Say for eg: he might be having 1,00,000 customers but he would say he has got only 20,000 or 30,000 customers:cool2:..........

We brother is running the cable business in a town in Salem District and he gets the signal from the MSO Polimer Cable (Salem)............he is supposed to pay Rs. 40 or 50 per customer to polimer cable (MSO) and the polimer cable gives the feed for all the pay channels ...............and my brother has got a customer list of 2000 but he declares only 1000 customers to polimer..........

I am not gonna subscribe untill they reduced the cost of ESS.Not evn Star cricket for that matter.

I think its irrelevant how many channels we get on board or how many channel is provided by DTH or cable provider.......... I am more concerned about the channels i watch and their pricing and packages no matter its a FTA or pay channel........... As in my digital cable itself i am getting 30 Tamil channels but out of that i watch 3 - 4 GEC tamil channels........and i dont even peep into the following channels such as Win TV, Raj TV (Except NewS), Raj Digital, Imayam TV, Vasanth TV, Mega TV and some more.........whats the point in having those channels.......only advantage for me is that i could proudly that i get 30 tamil channels in digital mode in my cable....:rofl: but the key thing is out of those 30 how many do i watch.............
