not even sure why reliance was bothering. they do not care about their landline or broadband business. they don't even care about their mobile business. what was the point of merging and creating a bigger entity when you do not even want to invest and compete. if the eventual goal is to kill more competition for jio... i am sure jio can just directly acquire aircel if they so desire.
