Tata Play Fiber
Hi,
At present I am now on Tata Play Fiber. I closed my Airtel.
I switched to Tata Play fiber (Quarterly plan) in March and 7-Jun-24 was my recharge date.
However I recharged today 2 days before the due date.

I though it will come into effect after 7-Jun but it's already in effect and now it shows 89 days remaining.
So I lost the benefit of 2 days.
I called CC and he promised me credit of 2 days in this plan.
Not done yet..but this is a bit unusual. Any customer would assume that early recharge just puts the money in wallet and it comes into effect after the current plan expires.
No big concern but a bit unusual!

Why "no big concern"?
If it's prepaid and you're recharging for the same speed plan then it's always going to queue up. If not then we have the right to sue them (given if this is mentioned otherwise in their T&C's).

We as consumers should look at these basic things as recharges and take them strictly else brands will get away if we don't pay attention. Good to know that CC promised you this and if they hadn't then I would have suggested you to complain on PG portal.

CC is also clueless why it happened. As per them this is impossible. The recharge is supposed to come into effect after the previous duration expires.
But anyhow they have given me credit of 2 days and it's now reflecting in my account.
I have observed significant glitches with Airtel systems. This is so far minor and workaround provided promptly.
