Recommend a DVD/CD burning software better than nero

i want a software to make audio cd's/dvd's, burn data cd's/dvd's, video cd's/dvd's & mp3 cd's/dvd's!

you want simple software try these: InfraRecorder ImgBurn CDBurnerXP These should do 90% of all tasks. The only problem would be if you need an app that can convert the video/audio format to suit audio/video cd/dvd.

I used K3b & the default CD burning tool of Mint for burning few wmv files onto disc......but both failed. Is there some issue due to the format?

may be firmware issues with the cd/dvd writer.i am facing the same problem. all my burn sessions fail. my firmware is updated but i am not able to burn a single cd/dvd. i guess its time for a new cd/dvd drive.
