recommend inverter for home

hey all,its time to upgrade my 5-7 yrs old inverter at home.right now when electricity fails,inverter takes over.power does go for sometime,all devices are shut down ,we have to restart tv and all,i want to upgrade something newer and better,which one you recommend,i am naive in this field.can you guys guide me.

Yes I second SUKAM! Get a invatubular battery or two if you plan to game/use tv/dvd player when the power goes off!Been using SUKAM since 3 years now, never failed once!One more thing, when you connect the inverter I'd suggest you to enable only the fans/lights/power points which you will be using when the power goes off. Otherwise the load will exceed the inverter and you'll face big problems later on!Good luck!

i have a sukam 1400 VA inverter..that also has a UPS function..its good..my PC is directly connected to the inverter with a surge protector in between..takes over as soon as the light goes without router/modem/PC restarting
